Retired Army Brigadier General Maureen K. LeBoeuf Helps Women Business Owners Develop a Leadership Philosophy

Join this fabulous group of women on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 for networking, lunch, and an energetic speaker. As the first woman department head at the United States Military Academy, Maureen K. LeBoeuf has leadership qualities and experiences with which we can all learn. Maureen had a wonderful and enjoyable twenty-eight year career in the U. S. Army. During that time she held various staff and leadership positions in the continental United States and Europe. Most noteworthy was her assignment as the Professor and Head of the Department of Physical Education from 1997 until her retirement in 2004. Her position carried the unique title Master of the Sword. Upon her retirement Maureen was advanced to the rank of Brigadier General. Currently she is engaged in consulting in the areas of leadership development, mentoring and coaching.
This session will focus on answering the following questions in helping you to develop a leadership philosophy:
- Are you a leader?
- Have you ever given much thought to how you lead?
- Do you have a leadership philosophy?
Join us to hear Maureen K. LeBoeuf, a retired Army Brigadier General; first woman to chair a department at the United States Military Academy at West Point; helicopter pilot; wife and mother as she shares her leadership philosophy and how thinking about your leadership philosophy can help you become a more thoughtful leader.

Women Business Owners Network of Cary (WBON-Cary) was founded in 1995 as a non-profit organization comprised of women in leadership positions. We welcome all women in the Triangle Area who are owners, part owners, and prospective business owners, or are employed by businesses that support women in business.
